Any graphics issues found using Intel generic graphics drivers should be reported directly to Intel. OEM drivers are handpicked and include customized features and solutions to platform-specific issues. Therefore, it's generally NOT the best of ideas to replace them with the generics which in Intel's words: "Installing this Intel generic graphics driver will overwrite your computer manufacturer (OEM) customized driver. Although it's possible to install INTEL Generic GPU drivers on HP laptops, the OEM drivers provided by HP on its support pages are the truly 100% compatible drivers written especially for your system.
